Dr. Liff grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended the University of Michigan before graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She moved to New York for an internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Manhattan before joining Pure Paws. When out of the office, she enjoys spinning, exploring new restaurants and travelling. She is also an avid Michigan Wolverines fan! She has a special interest in internal medicine and dermatology.
Dr. Rudy Zamora grew up in Maryland in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. For as long as he can remember, he has always been in the company of animals. Besides cats and dogs at home, his extended family in Mexico had a farm where he spent many childhood summers surrounded by chickens, sheep, and pigs. He earned his DVM degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. His professional interests include geriatric care, shelter medicine, and low-stress handling. While not at work, Dr. Zamora enjoys bicycling, international travel, and cooking plant-based foods.
Dr. Louise Schaffer spent the first eighteen years of her life in Surrey, England, before immigrating to Australia with her family in 2009. She earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from the University of Sydney in 2013. Fresh out of veterinary school, Dr. Schaffer spent 18 months at a mixed animal practice in Tasmania before returning to practice small animal medicine in Sydney’s northern beaches in 2015. She has professional interests in small animal medicine, ultrasonography, and wildlife. In her free time, Dr. Schaffer enjoys cooking, any activities outdoors or in the water, and all sports.
Dr. Brian Grossbard, DVM, DACVS, is passionate for both animals and medical science. Pursuing a career as a veterinary surgeon, Dr. Grossbard is a 2005 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Refining his skill and expertise, he completed comprehensive internships including emergency medicine, internal medicine, general and specialty surgery, medical neurology, and an intensive 3-year surgical residency. Since 2006, Dr. Grossbard has been a veterinary surgeon in the state of New York. He is also board-Certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and a certified provider of stem cell therapy.
